It is difficult to believe that three weeks from today I will be on a plane heading to South America and starting my 90 day adventure. With each passing day I have at least a moment or two of nervousness - not just anticipation about the trip, but realization of what all I still need to do before departure.
Planning is still underway, but much has been accomplished since my last post:
- Hotels/lodging have been arranged for all but two nights
- Tours and/or tour guides reserved for several locations
- Accordion file created with all flight and hotel reservations printed; copies of passport and visas; sight-seeing ideas for every location
- Detailed, daily itinerary drafted for the portion of the trip with my wonderful friend Bridget
Much of the remaining planning should be wrapped up in the next two weeks and the last week before the trip will just be reconfirming all the details and dreaming about the upcoming adventure
